The Trinity Grid Holdings (TGH) Pacesetters Basketball Club’s Mackeson sponsored inter-ward tourney continues today at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall on Homestretch Avenue.
In the feature contest of the evening at 21:30hrs, defending champions Albouys- town/ Charlestown will look to build on their opening group ‘C’ win against Lodge/Meadowbrook when they oppose Buxton.
Led by the duo of Dave Causeway and Sheldon Thomas, an improved showing from the defending champions will be required if retaining their title is to be realised with the knockout round fast approaching.
Defeated in their opening fixture by Lodge/Meadowbrook, the East Coast unit will need to fashion the tournament’s first major upset if they are to qualify for the knockout rounds of the event.
North/South Ruimveldt will lock horns with Melanie in the opening group ‘D’ fixture of the evening at 20:00hrs.
