Trinidad and Tobago still winless after weekend matches

MAZATLAN, Mexico, CMC-Trinidad and Tobago teams have remained winless after the first two days of competition at the sixth leg of the Norceca Beach Volleyball Circuit in Mexico over the weekend.

The teams of Pauline Woodroffe and Elki Phillip (women) and Colin Bernard and Fabien Whitfield (men) have been made to struggle at the seaside city of Mazatlan, in Mexico’s Pacific coast.

Woodroffe and Phillip went under to Costa Ricans, Katherine Quesada and Eugenia Ramirez, 15-21, 13-21 to end bottom of their five-team group with a 0-4 record.

They also lost 13-21, 3-21 against Mexico-B’s Haydee Lopez and Pamela Aguirre in their playoff quarterfinal.

The T and T  women has suffered earlier losses to teams from the United States, Mexico and Canada.
