Guyana’s national multi-discipline team arrived safely in Palembang, Indonesia for this month-end’s Islamic Sports Solidarity Federation (ISSF) Games which will see Guyana participating in athletics, karate and taekwondo.
The team attended the opening ceremony Sunday morning and the karatekas and taekwondo athletes competed yesterday while Olympian Winston George and Alika Morgan will be in action today in action in the sprint and distance races.
The team is expected to perform well in their respective events and is scheduled to return in Guyana on October 1st.
