Trinidad and Tobago edged Guyana by a 1-0 score line when action in the Pan American Hockey Federation (PAHF) Cup continued in Mendoza, Argentina on Sunday.

Seeded fifth in the event, the twin island republic earned the vital three points through a fourth minute own goal to resign the Guyanese girls to their second consecutive defeat in their second ever PAHF cup game.

Guyana will play their final group game against the world number two and tournament top seed Argentina today.
