Police yesterday issued a wanted bulletin for a suspect in a murder which occurred on June 18 at Far Back Backdam, Cuyuni River.
Wanted is Colin O’Neil Blair, 21, called ‘Bow Foot,’ who police say is being sought for questioning about the
murder of Royston Sylvester Greenidge, called ‘Roy’.
The police had said that Greenidge, 38, of Kuru Kuru, and another man had an argument during which he was lashed about his head and other parts of the body with a piece of wood. He was subsequently pronounced dead on arrival at the Bartica Hospital.
Blair, who is of African descent, is described as medium built.
Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of Blair is asked to contact the police on telephone numbers 225-6411, 226-6978, 226-1333, 225-2722, 911 or the nearest police station. All information would be treated with strict confidence, police added.
