Sammy’s Six wins on sixes

Navin “Sixes” Samaroo, Soomdat “Rico” Jeet and Chibar “Tractor” Seopaul each scored 15 games as Sammy’s Six emerged winners of a friendly dominoes tournament last Wednesday at the Everest Cricket Club pavilion.

saw Sammy’s Six and Shew’s Six each ending with 75 games. However Sammy’s Six was declared winners after scoring more sixes. Gary’s Six occupied the third position with 68 games.

For Shew’s Six, the top players were Ron “Stiff Card” Callender with 15 games and Ramroop “Spoon” Sukhai 13.

Dino “Slam Down” Bissessar and Tony “Rebel” Ali made 15 and 14 games respectively for Gary’s Six.

Each team had one player going down lover’s lane, Claude “The Bigger” Stewart of Sammy’s Six, Kedar “Switcher” Seopaul of Shew’s Six and skipper Gary “Mels” Deonarine of Gary’s Six.

The winning team collected a trophy while the top player in each side received a jersey – Samaroo of Sammy’s Six, Callender of Shew’s Six and Bissessar of Gary’s Six.
