Barbados to enter the World senior games for the ninth year in a row

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados,  CMC- Barbados is sending 22 senior athletes- seven females and 15 males- to the Huntsman World Senior games in Utah, USA next week.

The athletes will participate in archery, basketball, cycling, table tennis, lawn tennis and track and field.

They were selected following the National Senior Games, and attained the qualifying standards set by the Huntsman Games.

This is Barbados’s ninth consecutive appearance at the games which run from October 7 to 13.

Last year Barbados amassed 81 medals at the Utah-based event, of which 55 were gold, 20 were silver and six were bronze.
