Caribbean Cargo onboard with Kashif and Shanghai

Caribbean Cargo DC, a shipping company based in Washington DC, United States of America says it will donate two desktop computers to the Kashif and Shanghai Organisation for its upcoming Secondary Schools football championships.

According to Royston DeSouza, Chief Executive Officer of Caribbean Cargo DC, the decision to assist the Kashif and Shanghai Organisation

resulted from a request from Aubrey Major a director of the organization.

“I was told about the Kashif and Shanghai Organization and their quality and professional approach in promoting sports and cultural activities in Guyana and the National Award the organisation received from the Government of Guyana for staging the annual knockout Christmas season football tournament for 23 consecutive years.

“Caribbean Cargo DC is truly a Caribbean shipping company. We will be making a donation of two desktop computers to the two Linden schools that reach the furthest in the tournament.”

De Souza said they will also donate a quantity of footballs for the tournament and an undisclosed sum of money to assist in the tournament preparation.

“e have made a commitment to the organizers for next year’s tournament in a much bigger way as we will place the tournament into our budget,” said De Souza.
