PMTC 1 though without the services of star spiker Quacy Matheson, still managed to sweep aside all of their opponents in straight games through  brilliant spiking by Ian Bagot, reinforced by splendid setting  from captain Jason Seelochan while former national captain Seon Glasgow and Luen David provided valuable support.

The round-robin, best of three tournament involved PMTC 1, Port Mourant Jaguars, PMTC 2, Rollers of New Amsterdam, Falcons of Canje and newcomers to competitive volleyball Skeldon Jets.

Port Mourant Jags won 4 of their 5 matches to place second while PMTC 2 lost all 5 of their matches, Falcons won 3 and lost 2, Rollers won 2 and lost 3 and Skeldon Jets won 1 and lost 4.

At the presentation ceremony held immediately after the conclusion of the competition, BVA president Gregory Rambarran thanked the Chattergoon family for sponsoring the competition, the management of Guysuco Apprentice Centre for granting the use of the facilities and all the teams for participating. He also congratulated the winners.
