Bakewell’s 15 plus years of support of the Kashif and Shanghai (K&S) Organization continues.
On Thursday during a simple presentation General Manager of the company, Rajendranauth Ganga handed over sponsorship to cover two days of this year’s tournament (one in Linden, one on the East Coast) that will enable school aged children to see the matches free of cost.
Bakewell has been with the K&S Organization for over 15 years and with the company on board yet again it has paved the way for the tournament to be free for school children up to the semi-final stage.
The organizers will be hoping to announce before the start of the tournament that the entire tournament is free for school children across Guyana.
Action in this year’s tourney which will see secondary schools vying for top honours will kick off on December 8.
