Rose Hall sports club presents education awards

The Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club (RHTYSC), in keeping with its ‘Pro-education and Anti-drugs’ Programme, on Tuesday donated the Best Student Trophy and other awards to the New Amsterdam Secondary School and revealed plans for its massive Christmas programme.

The RHTYSC said the multi-million-dollar Christmas programme will cap off a highly successful 2013 where it, along with its seven cricket teams, completed 180 programmes/projects this year. The club’s cricket teams: the Rose Hall Town Farfan & Mendes Under-15, Bakewell Under-17 and Second Division, Pepsi Under-19 and Intermediate, Gizmos & Gadgets First Division and Metro Females presented the trophy and five other education medals to the secondary school for its annual awards ceremony, as part of their personal developmental programme.
