Most people have probably never heard of Swan other than those who actually live in that general area; it is not even in Guyana’s Gazetteer. For first-time visitors it’s a world quite different from what they know.
This secluded community is located between Kuru-Kururu and Marudi on the Linden Highway and is made up of people who share a simple way of life. Getting to Swan requires traversing a white sand trail which is surrounded by thick vegetation. Hope of finding the village runs low as the journey drags on
