England end Kevin Pietersen’s international career

LONDON, (Reuters) – Kevin Pietersen’s brilliant and controversial England career is over after he was told this week that he no longer figured in plans for the future with the batsman saying he “deeply regrets” that he won’t play for his country again.

IDB to fund further studies on Amaila hydropower project

The Inter-American Deve-lopment Bank (IDB) is looking to fund further studies relating to the Amaila Falls Hydroelectric Project (AFHP) but whether it would still provide further financing for the project itself is open to question as under a new policy, the United States will be required to vote against multilateral funding for large-scale hydroelectric projects in developing countries.

Slingerz ineligible for CONCACAF C/ships

Seattle crushes Denver to win Super Bowl

EAST RUTHERFORD, (Reuters) – The Seattle Seahawks showed defense still rules in the Super Bowl as they embarrassed the usually high-scoring Denver Broncos 43-8 on Sunday to win their first NFL championship in franchise history.
