Concern grows on delay in drug contracts process

Farmer fatally hit by car at Patentia

Jude Joseph, a 28-year-old farmer, was fatally struck by a passing car on the Patentia Public Road, Patentia, West Bank Demerara (WCD) yesterday morning as he was heading to the market to buy bread and eggs to make breakfast for his daughters.

TB infections falling

The incidence rate for Tuberculosis (TB) is expected to drop significantly this year as the National Tuberculosis Programme has recorded the lowest figures for new cases ever for the first four months of this year.
