PNCR launches Forbes Burnham Institute

As part of the activities to commemorate the 29th death anniversary of the Founder Leader Linden Forbes Sampson Burnham, the People’s National Congress Reform (PNCR) on Wednesday launched the Forbes Burnham Research Institute (FBRI).

A release from the PNCR said that in remarks preceding the launch of the Institute, Jeffrey Thomas said that it was important that the Institute do more than just make note of Burnham’s ideas and the efforts that were made by the party to implement them. Thomas who served as a Cabinet minister in the Burnham-led PNC government has been retained to oversee the development of the Research Institute.

To mark the launch of the FBRI an exhibition was held at the Headquarters of the National Congress of Women, Public Road, Kitty on Wednesday. The exhibition featured photographs of Burnham and a display of some of his books and speeches.
