Paul Scotland who allegedly chopped his reputed wife to death on January 3 made his first court appearance on Tuesday and was remanded to prison.
Scotland is alleged to have murdered Marcia Adams, the mother of his children. He was not required to answer to the indictable charge of murder when it was read to him in the Cove and John Magistrate’s Court. He returns to Court on February 19.
Reports are that the woman was killed at Paradise, East Coast Demerara (ECD) following an argument allegedly with her reputed husband. She was said to have suffered multiple stab and chop wounds to her body.
The suspect later turned himself in.
