The current drainage system at Diamond/Grove on the East Bank of Demerara is set for upgrading as the Ministry of Agriculture’s National Drainage and Irrigation Authority on Tuesday received six bids for the expansion of the sluice there.
The bids were opened at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board, Ministry of Finance Compound Main Street.
There was no response for the procurement of sewing machines for the ministry and as such that contract will have to be retendered.
The Nationals Communications Network (NCN) also sought tenders for the following contracts.
