Metro donates to Berbice Health Authority

Metro Office & Computer Supplies answered the needs of the Berbice Regional Health Authority (BRHA) and the New Amsterdam Hospital (NAH) by providing two multimedia projectors and screen last week.

The institutions were thankful for the devices worth $1M as they would assist greatly in facilitating

the Continued Medical Education sessions among young doctors and other training for enhanced staff development.

The equipment was provided following a request by Chief Executive Officer of the BRHA, Dr. Vishwa Mahadeo.

Public Relations Officer of the BRHA, Michael Itwaru urged other private sector agencies to “emulate Metro and support the health sector in the region as we work towards building it one day at a time.”

A release from Metro said company president Ron Ramnarayan is “pleased to partner with the BRHA in an attempt to strengthen our Public Private Partnership and to also upgrade the delivery of training to personnel within the health sector by the use of multimedia in a technological advancing age.”
