Imran Deonarine, whose address was not given, was charged with fraudulent misappropriation yesterday when he appeared before Magistrate Geeta Chandan Edmond in Court 10 at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts.
It was alleged that the accused fraudulently converted for his own benefit, $1,380 property of Sheeba Hickens, entrusted to him on April 14.
He was placed on $5,000 bail and will see his trial commence on May 8.
