Biker still recovering after being hit by canter

Biker Jermaine Bernard remains in a stable condition at the Georgetown Public Hospital after being hit on Wednesday by a canter truck.

Bernard, 25, of Haslington, was hit early Wednesday morning as he rode his bike to work. According to reports, Bernard had been riding his motorcycle on the outside lane of the Rupert Craig Highway in the vicinity of Atlantic Gardens when he moved closer to the inside lane to avoid an oncoming car.
