Local chefs for Jamaica food festival

Five local chefs will this year showcase Guyanese food at the Jamaican Epicurean Escape Festival.

The chefs were selected from three local restaurants and the Carnegie School of Home Economics.

They are John Reman of the Bettencourt Restaurant, Dustin Dalgetty of Silhouette Restaurant, Dane Kennedy of the Carnegie School of Home Economics and Nisa Walker and Bharrat Pupdyal of the Oasis Café .

The chefs and their assistants are sponsored by Fly Jamaica who yesterday held a small reception in their honour at the Ogle Airport.

The Festival will be held on Sunday 24th and Monday 25th of May in Jamaica.
