Montrose teen was stabbed in heart

Seventeen-year-old Bhaker Azeez, of Montrose, East Coast Demerara, who was found wounded along the Ogle Access Road on Monday, succumbed to a stab wound to the heart, an autopsy has found.

The examination was conducted yesterday by Pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh, police said in a statement yesterday.

Azeez, also known as ‘Andy,’ of 129 Third Street, Montrose, died on Monday evening at the Georgetown Public Hospital, where he was taken for treatment after he was found. Before being found with the knife wound at Ogle, he was last seen on the previous evening, when he left his home for a bike ride.
