Pegasus worker faces sentencing for stealing brandy

A Pegasus Hotel worker was yesterday admitted to $50,000 bail as he awaits sentencing for stealing six bottles of Hennessy brandy from the hotel.

The charge against Jevon Nelson, 23, of Campbellville, is that on June 14, being employed as a clerk or servant at the Pegasus Hotel, he stole six bottles of Hennessy, valued $48,000.

No further facts of what transpired on the day in question were presented when the case was called at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts.

Nelson accepted the charge when it was read to him by Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry,
