Former MFK Trading owner, Mohamed Khan was shot in his stomach last Wednesday in what he said was attempted murder in front of a masjid in La Grange, West Bank Demerara.
The businessman was held up by a lone gunman outside of the masjid at around 10pm while he was talking to a friend.
According to Khan, he had just parked his car to meet a friend in front of the masjid when a man rode up to them and pointed a gun at him. “Is money you come for, well this is what you gonna get!” Khan recalled the man shouting at him before firing shots.
