Upholsterer charged with harming wife

An upholsterer, accused of inflicting grievous bodily harm on his wife, was on Monday admitted to $50,000 bail.

The allegation against Andrew Gonsalves is that on September 26, at Oronoque Street, Georgetown, he unlawfully and maliciously inflicted grievous bodily harm on Seepatra Abrahams.

Gonsalves was not required to plead to the charge read to him by Magistrate Dylon Bess and he was subsequently placed on bail and ordered to return to court on October 7.
