GPL this evening issued the following advisory:
GPL wishes to advise its valued customers that the Nos. 1 and 2 Turbines and the 5MW No. 1 Diesel Generator at Skeldon have been removed from service for maintenance therefore restricting available capacity. Consequent of this our Company is forced to institute a load shedding exercise for this evening.
From 18:00 to 22:00 hrs this evening the following communities will be without electricity.
· #53 Village to Skeldon
· Canefield to Auchlyne
· Colombia to Belladrum Ruimveldt
· Industrial Site
· Meadow Bank
· Houston
· Agricola to Nandy Park
