Bid submitted for solar systems tools

As the last phase of installation of solar home systems in the hinterland gets underway, a lone bid was yesterday received for tools to complete the process.

With the procuring entity being The Office of the Prime Minister a bid from the Fix It Depot was received and opened when the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board completed its weekly tender opening process.

The contract states that for some $21.5M, Fix it Depot would supply the tools necessary to install solar panels for 6000 home systems.

The Public Service Ministry also received a lone bid for rehabilitation of the Minister’s office and windows.

The bid is shown in the table below.

Meanwhile the Office of the President received four bids for the rehabilitation of the main step and corridor rails of the the Institute of Applied Science and Technology (IAST)
