Switzerland ambassador accredited

Switzerland’s newly appointed Ambassador, Sabine Ulmann Shaban presented her Credentials to President Donald Ramotar on Wednesday at the Office of the President.

Welcoming the ambassador, Ramotar said that the relationship with her country is viewed as an important one.

“We anticipate your appointment will act will as a catalyst to strengthen and advance these relations through the development of a fruitful programme of cooperation that could benefit key sectors of both our countries”, GINA reported.

An invitation was also extended to Swiss companies, to invest in Guyana by the Head of State.
