The police say they are investigating the circumstances under which Welton Edwards, 50 years, and Sherwin Hamilton, 40 years, of Land of Canaan, EBD, were shot and injured by a licensed firearm holder at about 0005h. today on a roadway at Sarah Johanna, EBD.
The police say that Edwards was shot to his abdomen and back, while Hamilton was shot to his abdomen and foot. They have been admitted to hospital for medical treatment.
The licensed firearm holder, whose firearm has been seized, is assisting the police with the investigations, the police said.
