The Massy Guyana Group brought Christmas cheer to approximately 450 children at
two parties hosted by the Group of companies at Eccles Primary School and Massy
Industries Compound at Ruimveldt on December 6th, 2014, a release from the company said yesterday.
The annual parties hosted by the Group cater for underprivileged children living in
lower East Bank Demerara and Ruimveldt communities.
The release said that the party at Massy Industries compound was attended by children living in Alexander Village, Meadow Bank, Yarrowdam and West Ruimveldt, while children from Houston, Agricola, Eccles and McDoom were present at the party at Eccles Primary School.
Santa Claus along with cartoon characters Barney and Sponge Bob entertained the children who were given snacks and gift.
Fazieka Singh, Human Resources Manager of Massy Industries said that the parties are
held annually for the children in the lower East Bank and Ruimveldt areas.
