(Jamaica Gleaner) KINGSTON, Jamaica: Four persons were shot and killed by masked gunmen in Linstead, St Catherine on Wednesday night.
They’ve been identified as 21-year-old Shana Kay Simpson, 35-year-old Garfield Simpson other wise known as Miguel, 25-year-old lab technician Ricodell Jackson and 43-year-old Dean Pratt all of Middleton in Linstead.
According to the Constabulary Communications Network (CCN) about 9.15, Shana Kay and Garfield were standing along a road way when three armed men wearing black masks approached them and opened fire, hitting the two. The CCN says approximately ten minutes later, the masked gunmen, reportedly went to a shop in the community and attempted to rob a woman in the company of Jackson.
