Cops working leads in Pegasus driver murder

The police are making some progress in their investigations into the murder of Pegasus Taxi driver Rudranauth Jeeboo, according to Crime Chief Seelall Persaud.

Persaud when contacted for an update yesterday told Stabroek News that the police are working on some leads. He said that no arrests have been made thus far.

Jeeboo, a 50-year-old resident of Craig Street, Campbellville was found in a garbage heap at Cane View Avenue, South Ruimveldt, with marks of violence to his head on December 28 last.

His motor car, a Toyota Allion, HC 3521, was later discovered at the back of Guyhoc Gardens. The vehicle was stripped of its licence plate and the Pegasus logo.
