At about 0730h today, the police say that Andra Daniels, 7 years, of Good Hope, Essequibo Coast, was struck down by a motor car while allegedly attempting to cross the Good Hope Public Road. She was later pronounced dead on arrival at the Suddie Public Hospital.
The driver of the motor vehicle is in police custody assisting with the investigations, police say.
