Suspected cocaine pellets found in body of Jamaican woman

A post-mortem examination was performed today on the body of Jamaican national Beverley Gardner by Pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh, according to the police.

The cause of death has not been given as yet, however, a number of ingested “pellets”, suspected to contain cocaine, were found in the body, police said.

The body of Gardner had been found in a city hotel on January 22, 2014. The police had put out a wanted bulletin for a Jamaican man in connection with the death of the woman.
