Shot East Bank man recovering

Sunil Ramesh, who was shot on February 20 while his wife was robbed of $150,000 during an attack is now home from then hospital since last Friday but says he has not heard from the police since the attack.

He said that he has recovered well but still feels a lot of pain and his level of physical activity is limited. Ramesh and his wife Tina Ramesh, both of East Bank Demerara had just left a city bank when they were pounced on by a gunman in front of the Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company (GT&T) Church Street branch.
Ramesh, 37, was shot to his shoulder and abdomen and was taken to a private city hospital for medical treatment.
