Albouystown Impact Project continues apace

Albouystown, Georgetown was teeming with police ranks on Sunday as the Guyana Police Force’s ‘Albouystown Impact Project’ continued. The project was launched on Friday and is intended to work towards the development of the community into a safe neighbourhood. The project is being run off in collaboration with the ministries of Education and Human Services and Social Security, and other stakeholders.

When Stabroek News visited the community on Sunday ranks were seen patrolling in three-man units. Within the space of about fifteen minutes no less than fifteen ranks were seen at varying locations. Stabroek News was informed that foot patrols will be conducted during the day, and mobile patrols during the night.
