National Library holds Easter parade

Under the theme “Rising to great heights through reading” the National Library hosted its second annual Easter Parade. The parade culminated a three-week workshop during which the children learned to make and decorate Easter hats and baskets, according to the Head of the Juvenile Department, Francesca Burgess. That department she added, organised the event.

At 10:00 hrs the parade began in front of the National Library on Church Street,  participants then marched north onto Carmichael Street, west into Lamaha, south onto Main Street and ended in the compound of the National Library on Church Street.
