Three cases dismissed for want of prosecution

Court 10 yesterday saw the dismissal of 3 cases for want of prosecution.

Junior McPherson who was charged with assault and threatening behaviour, Sheldon Jerrick, who was charged with disorderly behaviour and Keon Roopnarine who was charged with littering.

The prosecuting officer stated that the police witnesses called were well aware that they were required to testify and there was no reason for their absence from court.

The magistrate dismissed the cases for want of prosecution.
