Two charged with obstructing traffic; one fined, one for trial

A man who pleaded guilty to obstructing traffic on Water and Cornhill streets was yesterday fined $10,000 with the alternative of 20 days in jail, while another who denied the charge was placed on bail.

Anson Sampson of 118 Uitvlugt admitted that he stopped/parked his bus, licence plate BHH 7976, in a manner likely to cause an obstruction, in the vicinity of Water and Cornhill streets Georgetown on April 15.

Meanwhile, Edward Fullington of 580 Recht-door-zee, West Bank Demarara, who was charged with
