Pike St woman dies after motorcycle accident

The police say they are investigating a fatal accident that occurred at about 1825h yesterday at JB Singh Road and Thomas Road, Georgetown, where motorcycles ridden by Jason Lashley, 25 years, of Sixth Street, Alberttown, and Harriet Philadelphia, 66 years, of Pike Street, Kitty, collided at the intersection.

Both drivers suffered injuries and were admitted to the GPHC, where Harriet Philadelphia succumbed while receiving medical treatment.
