In the article captioned ‘Town Clerk standoff, verbal abuse and a bomb scare…’ appearing in Monday’s edition of the Stabroek News it was erroneously stated that Office of the President Liaison Kwame McCoy had stated that the meeting was “illegal”. In fact it was Carol Sooba who said that the meeting was illegal. Stabroek News regrets the error.
