A Covent Garden man, who told a city magistrate that he was “the acting Christ” was yesterday released on self-bail and ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation.
Ronald Mundilall appeared before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry and pleaded not guilty to damaging a windshield, valued $25,000, and which was the property of Kurt Dillon. When the Chief Magistrate enquired what Mundilall’s name was, he slowly raised his right hand, which was heavily bandaged and announced that he was “the acting Christ.”
Mundilall was granted his release on his own recognizance and is due to return to court on June 6th.
