Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis Dr Denzil Douglas has been elected the new Chairman of the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) and he has stressed the need for the acceleration of disbursements for approved projects.
“Going forward the bank will need to accelerate the pace of disbursements in respect of projects that were already approved by the Board of Director some three, four, five years ago,” Douglas said at the closing ceremony for the 44th Annual Meeting of the CDB’s Board of Governors, which concluded on Thursday.
