‘As New and As Old’ exhibition extended

Castellani House, the National Gallery of Art, has extended its current exhibition ‘As New and As Old’ for another week.

‘As New and As Old’ is an art exhibition featuring the works of artist Bernadette Persaud.

According to a release from the gallery, there are 46 pieces on display in the gallery, inclusive of paintings and installations. Most of the pieces are almost three decades old and represents seven series.

The exhibition started on May 8 to celebrate Indian Arrival Day and the 48th Anniversary of Guyana’s independence. According to Castellani House, it has been extended to June 14.

 

Admission to the National Gallery is free.
