The police say they are investigating a fatal accident that occurred at about 1930h. yesterday on the No. 72 Village Public Road, Corentyne, and which resulted in the death of Satesh Ramdas, 29 years, of No. 72 Village.
It is alleged that Ramdas was lying on the roadway and was run-over by a motor pick-up vehicle. He was pronounced DOA at the Skeldon Hospital.
The driver of the motor vehicle is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
