Lady, a new magazine which proclaims the value of female empowerment and celebrates the achievements of remarkable Guyanese women, was officially launched on June 18.
Its first bi-monthly edition features women from various socio-cultural backgrounds who would have conquered numerous obstacles in their struggle towards success. A woman’s choice between her family or career, between an abusive relationship and her need to keep up appearances are just a few experiences recounted by some of the featured women in Lady.
