ATVs and navigation and communication equipment were yesterday handed over to the Guyana Police Force (GPF) by the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment’s Guyana Geology and Mines Commission (GGMC) along with the Guyana Gold and Diamond Miners Association (GGDMA). A release from the Ministry of Natural Resources said that the presentation of the equipment was part of an enhanced inter-agency monitoring and enforcement programme in the various mining districts.
