Decomposing body of missing Sophia man found in canal

The partially decomposed body of Tyrone Watts, 25 years, of ‘C’ Field, Sophia, was found at about 1100h. today, in the canal by the Sophia Bridge, police say.

He had been reported to the police as missing since Friday last.

The body is at the Lyken Funeral Parlour awaiting a PME.

Investigations are in progress.
