Three in custody after cocaine found in ornaments at airport

At about 0810h. today police say that ranks of the Police Narcotics Branch conducted a search on cargo contained in an airline bond at the CJIA during which cocaine was found within ceramic ornaments. The total quantity has not yet been ascertained.

Two men and a woman have been arrested and are in police custody assisting with the investigations.

Cocaine has been smuggled mostly in cooked food, fruits and rum. It appears that this latest find is a shift towards local craft.
