Sophia man shot in neck by robber

A D’ Field, Sophia resident was attacked and shot in the neck during a robbery on Friday afternoon.

Oliver Mohamed, 42, was shot on a Sophia roadway in the attack in which his jewellery and $300 were taken from him by a lone assailant armed with a gun, police said a statement on the shooting yesterday.

Mohamed was subsequently treated at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
